Bookings
Booking and payment
You request availability and a quote without obligation via info@elaleph-retreat.com or through the contact form. On confirmation we ask for a deposit of 50% of the booking amount. The balance is paid no later than 8 weeks before arrival.
For a booking made within 8 weeks of arrival, the full booking amount is paid in one go.
For cancellations more than 8 weeks before arrival, the deposit is not refunded. Within 8 weeks of arrival, the full rental amount is not refunded. We therefore recommend taking out cancellation insurance.
The deposit is €500. It is paid in advance together with the balance and, if there is no damage, refunded within 14 days of departure.
Rates
Prices and seasons
High season (1 July to 31 August and Easter week): €499 per night. Mid season (1 April to 30 June, 1 September to 31 October and school holidays): €285 per night. Low season (1 November to 31 March): €140 per night for 2 people, each extra person +€25 per night.
Bed, bath and kitchen linen, pool towels, kitchen basics (pepper, salt, oil...), pool and garden maintenance, cot and high chair on request, unlimited internet via Starlink. For stays longer than 2 weeks we provide a mid-stay clean of 2 hours and a change of linen.
Air conditioning and heating are billed at €0.65/kWh on site at check-out. The final cleaning is €275 and is paid on site to the property manager.
Outside school holidays there are special prices for groups of up to 4 people. Feel free to contact us for a personal quote.
From November to March, except during the Christmas holidays, flexible arrival and departure dates are possible for stays of at least 14 days.
Stay
Practical info during your stay
Check-in is possible from 4:00 pm. We ask you to check out by 10:00 am on the day of departure at the latest.
In high season we rent by the week, from Saturday to Saturday. Outside high season the minimum is 4 consecutive nights.
Pets are unfortunately not allowed at El Aleph.
Smoking is not allowed inside the house.
Children are very welcome. We provide a cot and high chair on request.
Amenities
What's available at the villa
Dishwasher, washing machine, board games, pool toys, TV and PlayStation, hairdryers. The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with basics.
The pool is heated by solar energy. We therefore can't always guarantee a constant temperature, but in the summer months it is wonderful for swimming.
Yes, unlimited internet via Starlink. Ideal if you occasionally want to work online or stream.
El Aleph accommodates 2 to 12 people, with four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Location
Travel and access
El Aleph is in the Axarquía, a mountainous region of Andalusia in the south of Spain. The villa overlooks olive groves and mountains, in complete calm but within driving distance of villages, restaurants and the Mediterranean.
Yes, El Aleph is accessible by a regular car. An SUV is more comfortable on the hilly terrain, especially if you plan to drive around a lot during your stay.
Málaga is the nearest airport, with daily flights from Belgium and the Netherlands. From there it's just over an hour's drive to the villa.
