The story of El Aleph
The story of the villa
Some places you visit. Others stay with you. El Aleph is one of those places.

The place
Where time slows down
Hidden among the green hills of the Axarquía, in authentic Andalusia, lies a villa where calm, nature and togetherness take centre stage. High above the coast and in the middle of a stunning valley, time seems to slow down here.
You hear birds in the distance, feel the gentle mountain air and look out over a landscape that shows a different face at every moment of the day.
El Aleph is a place where you slow down naturally. Where the day is not shaped by a schedule, but by sunlight, long conversations and small moments that unexpectedly turn special.

The meaning
Why 'El Aleph' ?
El Aleph stands for the point where everything comes together: time, experiences and new possibilities. It is a place and concept that invite you to step back from the busyness and stimuli of daily life.
"Disconnect to Reconnect" is the heart of it: letting go of what distracts in order to reconnect with yourself and your surroundings. By slowing down, room opens up for calm, clarity and new insights.
El Aleph is not an ordinary stay, but an experience of being consciously present and starting anew.
The house
A home made for togetherness
El Aleph was fully renovated and styled as an elegant boutique villa where warmth and comfort take centre stage. Large windows let daylight in everywhere, and around the house several terraces always offer a spot in the sun or in the shade.
In the morning, the day starts gently with a coffee on the terrace while the sun slowly rises above the hills. During the day, refreshing dips in the pool alternate with long lunches and relaxed moments in the outdoor lounge.
As evening falls, everyone naturally gathers at the long wooden table under the covered terrace. Evenings here often last longer than planned. Another glass of wine, one more conversation, a little more of the silence to savour.
For families, El Aleph is a place where children play outside endlessly again. For friends, it is a home where memories are made. And for couples or families looking for quiet, it feels like a place where you can truly escape.

The casita
A hidden spot with a view
On the estate there is also a separate casita, a romantic room with its own bathroom and a view that never grows old.
A place where you wake up with the valley in sight and where the first rays of sun glide slowly over the mountains. Here, silence does not feel empty, but exactly the way a holiday should be.

The surroundings
The charm of the Axarquía
El Aleph is close to Canillas de Aceituno, a charming white village east of Málaga where real Andalusian life is still very much present. Narrow streets, local tapas bars and welcoming squares create that typical southern Spanish atmosphere.
From the village starts the impressive El Saltillo hike. Often called the little brother of the Caminito del Rey, it takes you along spectacular views and an impressive suspension bridge.
The coast is also surprisingly close. Within half an hour you are at the Mediterranean, enjoying fresh fish or a relaxed lunch in one of the many beach chiringuitos.
For culture lovers, Málaga, Granada, Córdoba and Seville are all within reach for a day trip.

The climate
One of the most beautiful climates in Europe
The Axarquía is often called a hidden gem. The region combines mountains, nature, white villages and the proximity of the sea with an exceptionally mild climate.
With more than three hundred sunny days a year on average, it invites you to live outdoors all year round. Even in winter, the sun here often feels surprisingly warm.
